Dr. Anthony Cutting
Welcome! I was born and raised most of my life in Phoenix, Arizona. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2009, and earned my doctorate from The University of Western States in Portland, OR in 2012, graduating summa cum laude.
After completing a rigorous clinical and subsequent externship, I had the opportunity to work alongside a couple of fantastic doctors, learning the ropes regarding the industry. In 2014 I opened my own practice and I’m excited to help my patients embrace health and wellness as a lifestyle.
Outside of practice, I enjoy exploring the Northwest through outdoor activities with family and friends. These include long-distance running, road and mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
I have been married since 2008 to my beautiful wife, Brenna. We have two amazing sons, Ezekiel and Solomon. We attend a local non-denominational Christian church in Eugene where we enjoy fellowship with friends and serving in various capacities.
Hello! I am native to Eugene and love living and working in this community. I’m Dr. Anthony’s wife and mom to our two wonderful boys, Ezekiel and Solomon.
I worked as a dental assistant for many years, but I found my passion in business and health. That being the case, running our practice is the perfect fit for me. I take pride in keeping things in the office running smoothly and taking care of all the behind the scenes tasks, being a support to all the clinical providers. I expand my knowledge of small business whenever the opportunity arises, in order to ensure efficiency for our patients. I also love getting to know our patients when I help with the front desk as needed.
When I’m not at the office or raising our boys, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing CrossFit, being outdoors, herding chickens, and coming up with healthy, delicious meals.
Front Office Coordinator & Billing
I was born in Eugene, and raised in Junction City, Oregon. I met my husband when I was 12, we married in 1991, and we have been together ever since. In 2002 my husband’s company asked us to relocate to Fort Worth, Texas. We decided to try it out. After living in Texas for over 14 years, we decided to move back home to be close to family and beautiful Oregon.
I have over 14 years experience in Medical Billing, working with insurance companies, and I am passionate about customer care and service. I pride myself on extreme diligence and attention to detail. I work hard to keep current on the ever changing world of Medical Billing to ensure that we are up to date with the latest regulations.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our three dachshunds. I love a good movie, fishing, camping, and hanging out with family and friends.
Physical Rehabilitation Specialist & Certified Personal Trainer
Hello and welcome! My name is Harold and I am the Physical Rehabilitation Specialist here at Active Chiropractic. I am originally from southern California but have lived in Oregon for the last 14 years. While completing high school in Roseburg, OR, I competed in cross country running and wrestling.
My love of sport and fitness quickly evolved into the need to share and spread its everlasting effects. I started out coaching kids wrestling and eventually sought out my Level 1 and Level 2 CrossFit Certifications. I have coached well over 2,000 classes and worked with all ages and abilities. Now, I truly enjoy my time here in our Rehab Center helping patients build the strength and mobility to Live Well and Live Active.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, almost all outdoor sports, CrossFit, and hanging out with my 3 year old chocolate lab, Murphy.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Originally from Illinois, I moved to Eugene a few years ago for a change of scenery and new adventures. One of my aspirations was joining Lane Community College’s Massage Therapy Program. Upon completion in 2014, I earned my Massage Therapy License. I specialize in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cupping, and Myofascial Release.
Having struggled with chronic pain in the past, I am empathetic for my clients. Using various techniques and my intuitive touch, I strive to help my clients overcome their pain and achieve their wellness goals.
When I am not working, I enjoy seeing live music, camping, hiking, and getting lost in a good book.
Licensed Massage Therapist
As an Oregon native I am thrilled to call Eugene my new home! With a lifelong interest in health and wellness I chose to enter the field of therapeutic bodywork; completing the Western Focus Program at the Oregon School of Massage (Portland Campus), in 2011. The core of my initial training included Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release. Over the years I have furthered my skill set with advanced training in Pre/Perinatal/Postpartum massage and Cupping.
Upon getting licensed, I worked for an acupuncturist and then established my own practice in Lake Oswego, Oregon. While my husband and I loved the Lake Oswego area, we chose to move the Eugene in 2016 and I enjoy being a member of the Active Chiropractic team!
Outside of the office, I enjoy experimental cooking, yoga and our beautiful outdoors. Long term, my husband Douglas and I look forward to establishing a small family farm in the Eugene area.
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
I am a native Oregonian and have lived outside the Eugene area with my husband, dog, and chickens for four years.
I earned my Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and am certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from the Nutritional Therapy Association. My own personal health journey led me to where I am today; because of my experiences, I have a strong passion for nutrition and absolutely love helping people reach their nutrition goals. I use a holistic approach to improving wellness and work with each of my clients based on their individual nutritional needs, while also focusing on the importance of a properly prepared, nutrient dense, whole foods diet. I strive to help provide a good foundation and life long wellness, whether improving general health, reducing fatigue, weight loss or battling a chronic illness.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking nourishing meals, gardening, swimming, kayaking, backpacking and surfing on the Oregon Coast with my husband.
